Former Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders offensive tackle Larry Allen has passed away at the age of 52. Allen was a Hall of Fame inductee and one of the most dominant players in NFL history. He was a key member of the Cowboys' Super Bowl XXX victory in 1996.

Allen was born in Los Angeles, California, and played college football at Sonoma State University. He was drafted by the Cowboys in the second round of the 1994 NFL Draft. Allen quickly became a starter for the Cowboys and was named to the Pro Bowl six times. He was also a two-time All-Pro selection.

Allen's death was sudden and unexpected. The cause of death has not been released. Allen is survived by his wife and two children.
