History

Real Sociedad de Fútbol, commonly known as Real Sociedad, is a Spanish professional football club based in San Sebastián, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country.

The club was founded in 1909 and currently plays in La Liga, the top tier of Spanish football.

Real Sociedad has won two La Liga titles, in 1981 and 1982, and one Copa del Rey, in 1987.
