Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley have signed on to star in Coralie Fargeat's upcoming horror film "The Substance." The film, which Fargeat wrote and will direct, is being described as a "body horror" and will follow Moore and Qualley as the same character at different points in her life.

Dennis Quaid has also joined the cast of the film, which is scheduled to begin production this summer. Fargeat is best known for her 2017 revenge thriller "Revenge," which was a critical and commercial success.
